“Leaders aren’t born, they are made. And they are made just like anything else, through hard work. And that’s the price we’ll have to pay to achieve that goal, or any goal.”
-Vince Lombardi
My full name is Sefesi Keolalani Walenska Vaa’ivaka. I am currently a senior at Southern Utah University and am pursuing my degree in the field of psychology. I am proud to be of Pacific Islander descent, more specifically, coming from the island of Tonga. I am also proud to be a member of our football team. I have been blessed that because of my athletic ability, it has allowed me the opportunity to further my education. Football was an outlet for me as a kid and teenager; now it is a pathway to my success.

There are so many lessons that I have learned over my many seasons of playing football. Most of the lessons I've learned are ones that have taught me humility and hard work. Football has had its' implications throughout my life that has shaped me into a better and stronger man to this day.

That is why football holds such a special place in my heart. Not for the wins or the championships, but for the lessons that will stay with me for the rest of my life. And now I want to share those lessons with younger athletes.
